January 2016 — Chapel Hill Transit (CHT)  is seeking public feedback on six configurations, proposed station locations, and the  North-South Corridor project overall to help CHT make final recommendations to its partners including the towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and UNC Hospitals.  To that end, CHT held three public outreach sessions on January 20 and 21.  CHT welcomes comments through the end of February 2016.

On this website, be sure to
1)  View the video showing computer-generated concepts of BRT vehicles, converted and constructed dedicated or shared bus
lanes, and station amenities.
2) Examine the boards shown at the Public Outreach Sessions.  The boards cover the six alternatives, benefits of Bus Rapid Transit, and various bicycle safety considerations.

3) Send your comments about the project including your preferred alternative using our online survey OR printing and mailing the Comment Card.  You do not need to do both.
